Regardless of the type of cutting board you use, its life can be extended by following these guidelines

  • Ensure that the pad shifter is functioning properly
  • Rotate the cutting board 180° after each shift
  • Flip the cutting board for even wear
  • Check the cutting die's condition. Make sure the cutting die
                is even across the board,
                is not warped,
               is not dull
  • Sharpen the cutting die on a regular basis
  • Do not drive the blade too deeply into the cutting board
  • Store board horizontally to prevent warping and arching
  • Make sure cutting press is properly leveled
